![]() We just did the cruise and didn't get off due to time constraints. Also included Statue of Liberty and Ellis island boat. in two hours which we couldn't do - just check times before you hand in your voucher. Also included top of rock tickets which sadly we didnt use as they allocate you a time later in the day i.e. The guts who ride the bikes and tow you are open to negotiation as an alternative. Also you pick bikes up three blocks from park so you have to walk bikes through busy pedestrian traffic. We had two young kids so it didn't work for us. We also got bicycles for central park - can't ride on paths only roads so go have a look first. ![]() $25 of our price was vip (first on bus) - this is not enforced by some guides so if it is busy you just have to jostle your way through. ![]() If you pay for a tour - do a walking tour. Better value and over twice as fast is the subway and also make sure you do a walk over the Brooklyn bridge then catch the subway back. We did the downtown tour and Brooklyn tour. The tour guides are shocking and you won't be getting much information except how much tip they expect. The bus is stuck in traffic most of the time - this is a very bad way to be getting around Manhattan. We are a family of four from Australia - we paid $125 each (adult price) and felt very dissappointed. These tours are available in several languages and offer reserved seating on our heated/air conditioned coach tour buses. For a more personal and comfortable experience, may we suggest you try our escorted sightseeing tours. Some of our regular bus stops can even be suspended at any given time without notice. We apologize that you experienced delays as the designated VIP line must have been a bit longer on that particular day. Some VIP holding guests mistakenly believe that the VIP pass allows them to disrespect other guests while in reality the VIP pass is meant to be used at any of the specifically outlined locations at which there are special lines for VIP pass holders. It is important for our VIP guests to take a few minutes and understand how to properly use the pass. Although most of our guests report an exceptional value from our VIP passes, we realize that there are some stops at which using the pass can prove difficult. These bus tours were a total DISASTER!Īlthough most of our tour guides are truly excellent, they are human and sometimes you may find one tour guide to be better than another. We couldn't put ourselves through any more misery. The people next to us had purchased the cheapest possible tickets and got in before the VIP holders. There were lots of other VIP passes in that line, but they never sorted them out. We were almost killed by the mob that had been waiting forever for the bus. Because of our VIP passes, an employee told us to get in the front of the line. ![]() It had been arranged for months, but we talked to about ten Gray Line employees and walked to about five bus stops before we actually saw a bus that morning. There was a race scheduled in NYC while we were there. One day the bus broke down so they just dropped us off for the day at some random place and we had to find our way back to terminal. One of the attractions that we visited as our plus 3 was actually free for everybody, so we wasted that and stood in line with everybody else. The night tour we took, was a waste because the microphones didn't work. Two of our tour guides were absolutely impossible to understand because of their dialects. We had purchased the 72 hour plus three attraction VIP tours before we left home. I have been on Gray Line tours before, but NEVER again.
